Donald Albracht served the United States of America as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for over 28 years. His experience has been extensive and diverse including investigations and training as well as leadership of an FBI SWAT Team and a Violent Crime Task Force. Don also served as a Firearms and Tactical Instructor to federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, traveling nationwide and internationally. The bulk of his experience was primarily investigations of Violent Crimes/Gangs and Terrorism and he led a very successful and well respected FBI Task Force focused on Violent Crime and Fugitives in the Kansas City metro area. He also served as the Principal Tactical Instructor and Firearms Instructor for the Kansas City Division of the FBI. With 25 years tactical experience as an FBI SWAT Team Member, Squad Leader, Assistant Team Leader and Senior Team Leader, he was responsible for the training and leadership of the Kansas City Office of the FBI's SWAT Team. In addition for awards for expert shooting skills, Don is a two time recipient of the FBI Shield of Bravery and recipient of the Kansas Peace Officers Association Gold Award for Bravery, along with numerous awards and commendations for exemplary conduct of investigations and training. In addition to his duties at Centerfire, Don does independent contracting as a private investigator, security consultant and provides executive protection services.



Corinne Mosher attended the University of Missouri Kansas City where she studied at the prestigious Conservatory of Music. She is an accomplished violinist and has participated in numerous musical events. She has worked at Centerfire Shooting Sports since we opened and has been essential in creating content for some of our most popular classes. She has studied firearms under Rick Staples, Clint Smith, David Hill, and Taran Butler. She has been a student at the world famous Thunder Ranch in Oregon.  Corinne entered the sport of competitive shooting (3gun) in early 2014 and has quickly gained a national and international following on social media sites. She has competed in nearly 10 competitions in less than a year and recently took 2nd place in her division at the historic ladies only 3 gun in Atlanta, Georgia. She is well known throughout the shooting community and proudly represents Taran Tactical Innovations, 5.11 Tactical, Taccom, Tactical Simulation Solutions, and Centerfire Shooting sports. She has recently been named as a 5.11 Tactical Ambassador.  Corinne is married to a local Police Officer and has a 7 year old daughter that recently became one of the youngest black belts in Korean American Tae-kwon-do. You can find Corinne teaching our classes and giving private lessons to those wanting to learn more.



Nolan May is an avid outdoorsman and firearms enthusiast with many years of experience. Nolan won the 2010 Kansas State Archery tournament in his class, NWKS Skeet and Trap Champion in the 18 and younger class in 2003 & 2004 and was the Beaver Creek Muzzleloader Champion in 2002. He is a recent graduate from the University of Kansas with a Business and Leadership Degree. Most currently you might have seen him on an episode of Comin’ in Hot for one of his many hunting expeditions presented by Smoked ‘Um Productions. He is an NRA Certified Instructor, NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and certified by the Kansas Attorney General to teach the Kansas Concealed Carry Handgun Class.



Mark Rosen is a retired Law Enforcement officer and an NRA certified instructor. Mark started his career with the Johnson County Sheriff's office where he worked in the Detention Division, Court Services Division, Field Operations/Patrol and Special Investigations/Undercover Narcotics. Mark finished his law enforcement career of twenty years in Michigan where he retired as a patrol officer and training officer. Mark is married with two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys shooting, hunting, golf and flying.

Austin Cates is currently working on his doctorate at Cleveland Chiropractic College, and is an NRA certified instructor. He was taught how to shoot, at the age of 6, and hasn't stopped hunting or shooting since. He was the Midwest region American Marksman champion in men's division for 2016. As well as a finalist for the national title. He shoots regularly and competes locally whenever he can,  recently winning the second annual Brandon Collins Memorial Shoot. He greatly enjoys teaching new and inexperienced shooters the skills necessary to shoot well. In his free time enjoys hunting, fishing, and long range shooting.

Alex Hill is a manager at Centerfire Shooting Sports, having been with the company since moving from Massachusetts to Kansas in 2014. He previously served as a Marine Corps Infantryman from 2005-2009, and deployed to the Mediterranean/Persian Gulf region, as well as Ramadi, Iraq. His roles included Automatic Rifleman, Fire Team Leader, and Combat Marksmanship Coach. After being honorably discharged he attended college and began working in the firearms industry. He has instructor certifications from the NRA in both Basic Pistol and Home Firearms Safety disciplines, in addition to armorer certifications from Glock, Sig Sauer on the AR-15, and Smith & Wesson for the M&P pistol line. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his wife and young daughter and read about American history.


Douglas L. Spillers 30 year career as a Special Agent with the FBI brought him assignments in San Diego, New York, and Kansas City Field Offices. He worked Drug Trafficking Organizations, Violent Crimes Matters and Fugitive Investigations. As an FBI Firearms Instructor for 24 years, he instructed in New York and Kansas City and served as Lead Firearms Instructor for the Kansas Division for 12 years. He was an FBI SWAT Team Operator including Observer/Sniper Team Leader, Squad Leader, and Assistant Team Leader.
Named 2002 Tactical Officer of the year by the Kansas City Metropolitan Officers Association for tactical training provided to state and local SWAT teams, and Doug is the recipient of the FBI Shield of Bravery in 2009.
Doug graduated from James Madison University and George Mason University School of Law and is currently a member of the Virginia Bar Association.


Asa Carpenter served seven years in the United States Marine Corps, earning the rank of Sergeant. Three of those years he was chosen for the prestigious duty of Marine Security Guard by the Department of State, where he was tasked with protecting our nations Embassies and diplomatic facilities abroad. During his service, he was stationed at or deployed to 15 countries across 4 continents. On many occasions, he was selected by his superiors to be responsible for his unit's training. After being honorably discharged from the Marines he attended the University of Kansas where he earned his BA in Slavic Languages and Literature with a concentration in Russian Linguistics. He has received instruction from the USMC, Department of State, Diplomatic Security Service, and DEA. He is a lifelong hunter, shooter, and outdoorsman. His certifications include: NRA Certified Instructor, Machine Gun Instructor, and Master Instructor on Suicide Awareness and Prevention


 Adam Hilley is a current law enforcement officer for a large local agency and member of his department's tactical team.  Adam has over a decade of law enforcement experience with assignments in Patrol, Fugitive Apprehension, and as a member of his department's Training Division.  While in the Training Division for 3.5 years, Adam taught at both the Basic Academy and departmental in service training.  Adam holds firearms instructor certifications in pistol, shotgun, and rifle.  His other instructor certifications include, chemical munitions, emergency vehicle operations, and defensive tactics.  When not working, Adam enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
