Concealed Carry Firearms Courses

Centerfire Shooting Sports Instructors are certified to teach Concealed Carry Classes for all residents of Kansas and Missouri residents living in Jackson, Clay, Platte, and Cass Counties.

Classes for concealed carry are based on the concealed firearm carry instructional requirements developed by various law enforcement agencies in Kansas and Missouri. In this course, students will learn about the Personal and Family Protection Act, federal, state, and local laws concerning the use of deadly force, firearm maintenance and safe storage, ammunition procurement and storage, loading, unloading, and shooting techniques, and conclude with a final written exam.

We assume each student is already proficient with using their firearm. This is because the Concealed Carry classes are based on the laws in Kansas and Missouri regarding the justified use of firearms. Therefore, a great deal of training on firing a pistol will not be provided during the classroom portion.
